Hi! Thanks for stopping to read my profile. I'm a bit new to this approach to meeting people, but I lead a pretty full life and don't socialize as much as I would like to. So I thought I would give this a try.

I'm a California native...grew up in Los Angeles and moved to the Bay Area for college when I was 17. I was educated at Harvard (MBA) and Stanford (BS and MS Engineering and math). I am on my second business start-up, and love the independence and flexibility of being a business owner. Im the second of four kids, all of whom, along with my parents, still live in California. Everyone I meet assumes that I was the first born because I definitely have a first-born personality you know, ambitious and competitive although you would never know it when you first meet me; Im pretty laid back on the outsidegood at keeping my Type A idiosyncrasies in check!

I love working out, and go to the gym 2 times per week. running, hiking, riding my bike, and swimming are favorite activities. I am 5'7" tall, and weigh 170#...a typical "Euro-mix": German, Dutch, French, and Swedish. I would be happy to send you a few more pics if interested.

I also love reading and going to the movies. You might laugh, but I just finished reading Treasure Island. It's a classic in children's literature, but somehow, growing up, I never read it. Turns out it was really good! Normally I read "fascinating stuff" like Forbes, Business Week, and Investors Business Daily (sarcasm intended).
