I’m what I called handiabled not handicapped yes both my legs are amputated below the knee. I walked fine with prosethics didnt even use a cane.  Lost right one in 2/07 and left one 8/09, both due to complications of diabetis. I have had a couple of strokes 3 in 5 days in the beginning of 6/12.  So its been 6+years and it has left me a tri-plegic. Im paralyzed except for my left arm and head. Im in a home for adult care.  I have had a full and successful life till my 50's.  I still have a hell of a gift for humor just ask that some know me well.
